Weed Control and Fertilization Services

Weed control and fertilization go hand-in-hand to ensure your turf remains lush and grassy instead of wildly weedy. Our standard weed control service includes six visits per year, or one visit every other month, with treatments provided in an order that attacks weeds from the start and prevents them from growing or taking over your lawn.

Our weed control visits begin toward the beginning of the year in late winter and carry on till the end of the year at the start of winter. Our application program includes:

• Late winter pre-emergent – This application tackles weeds growing beneath the ground before they have the opportunity to emerge.
• Spring pre-emergent – During our second visit, we apply another round of pre-emergent to tackle your weeds even further.
• Early Summer fertilization—We will fertilize your lawn in the spring, feeding it the nutrients it needs to thrive throughout the spring and summer months.
• Summer fertilization – We re-nourish your turf to boost grass health and promote a lush, vibrant yard. The goal is for your grass to remain healthy even at the hottest temperatures.
• Autumn pre-emergent – We apply another round of pre-emergent to tackle any weeds that may have slipped through the cracks.
• Winter pre-emergent – We finish the year with additional weed control to eliminate any remaining weeds or weed seeds and to set your lawn and soil up for a healthier spring.

Ant Control

Our ant control services are available yearlong to keep your yard enjoyably ant-free. We target these nuisance insects that often take over lawns and make being outside too miserable.

Not only are ant mounds unsightly, but if fire ants have made your yard their home, they present the threat of painful, dangerous bites. Ants reproduce quickly and can easily overtake the areas they occupy. Even if the ants in your yard do not form large, obvious mounds, they can still be found throughout your lawn under walkways, driveways, and other areas you and your family may frequent.

Aeration

If your soil has compacted and hardened, your grass growth will suffer.

Signs of soil compaction include:

• Grass that has a patchy appearance
• Areas of grass that look thin when they should look thick
